There is a coffee shop near where I live called The Iron Cafe, located in Montgomery, New York. This shop has been around since forever and everyone that lives in the area has been to this coffee shop. There is a casual, calm, and old timey vibe to the cafe and the baristas there are always the nicest people and willing to answer any questions! Today I went in and asked that baristas what specialty coffee they recommend and they chose the Oatmeal Cookie iced coffee. To make this coffee they start with brown sugar and hazelnut with sweet caramel sauce. After adding the espresso, ice is added and then cold milk is poured over the top. The latte is topped with caramel cold foam mixed with Himalayan pink salt and some green sprinkles on top to make it look top tier. I love coffee and I am really picky about how I like my coffee and I would rate this a 10/10. The cafe and the coffee were amazing, the customer service was phenomenal, and the prices weren’t too expensive too! I am a Dunkin loyalist, so I often compare coffee to the ones I get at Dunkin and I have to say this one beats anything I could ever get at Dunkin. Since it is a local cafe, it feels more like a family when you walk in and the employees genuinely care about the drinks and food being good for their customers. Unlike Dunkin, who is very fast paced and your drink may be good or may taste like dirty water. I would definitely recommend The Iron Cafe to anyone and everyone!!
