If you’re ever in the mood for a refreshing iced coffee and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than The Crafted Kup in Poughkeepsie, NY. This cozy coffee shop has two locations in Poughkeepsie, one on Raymond Ave and the other on Eastdale Ave. Today I visited the Eastdale Ave location and it was a delightful experience!

Eastdale has its own little community vibe, and stepping into the coffee shop, I immediately felt the friendly and welcoming energy from both the staff and the customers. Despite it being a bit busy when I arrived, there were still plenty of seating options inside and outside, which was great. I wasn’t sure what to order at first, but the employee at the register was incredibly helpful and took the time to help me in picking out a coffee that I’d enjoy. With her help, I decided on an iced espresso with caramel, vanilla, and brown sugar. While there was a bit of a wait, it didn’t bother me. The atmosphere at The Crafted Kup was calm and peaceful, with music playing in the background and the comforting smell of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods filling the air.

My iced coffee wasn’t too bitter or overpowering and surprisingly I didn’t have to add extra sugar which is usually the case for me when I order coffee elsewhere. The milk-to-coffee ratio was spot on, leaving me with a smooth, creamy, and refreshing drink.

I would absolutely recommend The Crafted Kup to anyone in the area, especially the Eastdale Ave location. The coffee is fantastic, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be returning for another iced espresso!
